How to Get Paid Twice for Your Work

In an ideal world virtually everyone would build a business…at least if they’re interested in getting paid twice for their hard work. For a number of reasons building a business is a good decision.

Three are the most obvious and popular – making money, working less, and future saleability. You’ve most likely read about the first two. This post will focus on that third reason, which is perhaps the most important – future salability…how you can get paid twice for all of your nine-to-five effort.

Confessions of an Internet Detective

This past weekend I tracked down an old friend though I didn’t know where she was living, what she was doing, or even her married name. What made my search much more difficult is that I discovered after several Google queries that she had no personal online presence whatsoever.

The Upside of Anger

Anger often gets a bad rap. Of course it’s no secret why. Within the past several months television cameras have beamed around the world shots of a leading female professional tennis player threatening a line judge and a Congressman yelling out that the President is a liar, not capturing these individuals’ best moments.

These incidents are the latest round of newsmaking outbursts, unseating previous episodes like actors assaulting members of the press or fellow bar-goers and the highly publicized story of a cell-phone thrown by a supermodel.

How Your Hobby Can Pay For Itself

As I mentioned in my bio, I’ve recently become addicted to off-road motorcycling. It’s full of freedom, adventure, and the challenge of improving your skills. It’s my new passion and, without really meaning to, I’ve stumbled upon a way to make it pay for itself. By leveraging three basic strategies you can too.
